Ever feel like your hair goals are a destination without a map? You know where you want to go perhaps a creamy summer blonde or a high-shine, healthy brunette, but the path to get there feels blurry.
Most clients fall into the "Maintenance Trap." This is the cycle of booking the same trim or root touch-up every few weeks without a long-term vision. While this keeps your hair tidy, it rarely leads to that "wow" transformation you see on Instagram.
This March, we are shifting our focus away from basic maintenance and toward Transformation Planning.
What is a Colour Roadmap?
A Colour Roadmap is a bespoke, 6-month visual and technical plan created by your stylist. Instead of deciding what to do with your hair the moment you sit in the chair, we map out the journey ahead during a dedicated consultation.
When we build your roadmap, we consider:
-
The Destination: Exactly where do you want your hair to be by the peak of summer?
-
The Technical Steps: How many sessions will it take to reach that shade safely without compromising hair health?
-
The Investment: A clear understanding of the time and cost involved over the next two quarters so your budget stays predictable.
Ending the "Dull Phase" with Micro-Refreshes
We’ve been asking our clients a vital question: At what week between appointments does your hair lose its magic? Maybe your colour looks incredible on Week 1, but by Weeks 4–6, you notice a slight fade, a loss of shine, or that "thirsty" feeling. If you don't visit us until Week 9, you are spending nearly a month feeling less than your best.
Our Roadmap strategy introduces Micro-Refreshes:
-
The Signature Session: Your big transformation or foundational colour.
-
The Micro-Refresh: A targeted, shorter visit scheduled exactly when your hair starts to decline (e.g., Week 5) to restore softness, tone, and glow.
Why walk around with hair that "needs doing" when you can stay at 100% brilliance all year round?
Transformation Q&A
Q: How long does a Roadmap consultation take? A: We usually allow 15–20 minutes to deep-dive into your hair history, lifestyle, and future goals.
Q: Do I have to pay for the whole roadmap upfront? A: Not at all. The roadmap is a planning tool to help you budget and schedule your time; you only pay for services as you receive them.
Q: Can I change my mind halfway through the 6 months? A: Absolutely! The roadmap is a flexible guide. We adjust it based on how your hair responds to treatments and how your personal style evolves.
